Sr. Pastor Taro D. Golden is the founder and Pastor of New Covenant Ministries and is an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. Elder Golden is honored to serve in the Idaho Jurisdiction in building God’s kingdom in Eastern Idaho.
Having grown up around the negative influences of gangs and violence of Long Beach, Pastor Golden has developed a passion for helping others avoid problems through the Word of God. To accomplish this goal, Pastor Golden utilizes his education and experiences in education and social sciences to attack the social problems that affect our community by training people how to have victorious lifestyles in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Golden received his B.A. from the University of Montana-Western in Social Science in 2001.
He is an active member of his community . Pastor Golden is also known as “Coach Golden”, as he coaches football and basketball in Idaho Falls District 91. His career field as a Psychological Rehabilitation Worker keeps him active in the community on a daily basis. Pastor Golden volunteers much of his time and resources to the community, one example being his involvement with the 3-B Youth Detention Center.. He has also been a guest contributor on Idaho Public Television’s “Faith and Foreign Affairs” project.
